They came out same day I called the day after my water heater broke. The owner, Jeremy, is very personable and remembers his customers. He went out of his way to find me a water heater. Another local company was going to make me wait a week and charge me for them coming out to assess and then to come out to replace it. Jeremy is absolutely awesome. The level of customer service he provided was best I have experienced. He was able to successfully repair the manifold and replace our water heater. He explained everything to me thoroughly, even drawing a description of what was going to be done / how the plumbing works in the house. I feel like I just took a class on plumbing 101. After this crazy winter storm my water softener sprung a massive leak. service on Jan 5, 2018 In the freeze that hit ctx one the pipes leading to the sprinkler froze and busted. Of course this happened on a Friday. When I called around 5pm I thought I would get a voicemail but Jeremy answered. He was in the area and came by in less than 20mins. Unfortunately the sprinkler back flow device cracked along with the pvc pipe and as he is not authorized to repair sprinkler back flow devices. I respected his honesty and integrity because I respect a business that stays in their scope of practice. Jeremy placed a cap on the sprinkler intake line which restored water to the house which was much appreciated. After 28 years our water heater tank finally bit the dust. I didn’t know who to call to do the installation of the new tank, but then I remembered that I had recently read about a highly recommended plumber on Nextdoor. Luckily I had saved the information. I called Centex Rootdown Plumbing and Jeremy was able to schedule me right away. He was very friendly and professional on the phone. We received an appointment confirmation and an appointment reminder per text. He showed up for the appointment on time and he did an excellent job installing our new tank, placing it 18" off the ground as required by code and rearranging the waterlines, since the new tank was sitting higher now than the old one had been. I’d give way more than 5 stars if I could! We are brand new home owners, have lived in this house 48 hours. I was doing the dishes tonight and all of a sudden noticed the floor was soaking wet, looked under the sink and it was leaking. Mind you, in the inspection the precious home owners said they had a professional come and replace the faucet and also the dishwasher. The dishwasher was broken as well. We called the previous homeowners and asked them what happened and they preceded to tell us they did it on their own. They said they’d pay for us to call someone and have them repair it. It’s Sunday evening, 7:00 on July 4th weekend. I went on google, found this company and immediately he answered and said he could be here in 1 hour. He arrived and fixed everything immediately. I contacted Centex Rootdown Plumbing on Saturday, February 5, 2022 due to water pooling in my front yard. I assumed it was because of the freeze we were just dealing with as it had just started coming up in previous days. I had an appointment scheduled for Monday 7th of Feb. that accommodated my teaching schedule. Jeremy called the day before to confirm the appointment and showed up on time on Monday. Right away rhe problem was diagnosed as a crack in the pvc pipe that connects to my water shut off valve. Jeremy was able to repair all of that right then and there, stopping all water leaking, and stopping all my anxiety. He made offers to look for remodeling companies that were both had the capacity to entertain the job, and reputable as the services he had provided. Throughout our conversation, my physical limitations (I have a fair amount of mobility problems), came up. service on Jan 5, 2018 In the freeze that hit ctx one the pipes leading to the sprinkler froze and busted. Of course this happened on a Friday. When I called around 5pm I thought I would get a voicemail but Jeremy answered. He was in the area and came by in less than 20mins. Unfortunately the sprinkler back flow device cracked along with the pvc pipe and as he is not authorized to repair sprinkler back flow devices. These days good, honest and fair service is rare and almost unexpected. Today, I tried changing out my three outside sillcocks. First I turned off the water main and successfully wrenched off, and replaced, the first one. I wasn't so lucky on the 2nd. I ended up twisting the copper piping and snapped it off inside the brick wall! OMG, what to do now??! It was already late in the day and if my family were to have running water, I knew I would be paying for this. I did a Google search for "the best plumber in the area" and Centex Rootdown had nothing but five-star reviews. After only reading the first couple of great reviews, I made the call. Diane answered and let me know they would be at my house in about an hour. I figured since the plumber was on the way, and my water was off anyways, I might as well try to change out my 3rd spigot. Amazing! Jeremy called to let me know he could come earlier than our appointment time, which was awesome. He is exceptional, honest and very hard working. We had a clogged kitchen sink and he had to use different ends to break it up, spent what I would guess at least double the amount of time it normally would take to fix it, without complaint or attitude. And I was only charged the original quote, which was VERY affordable, especially for someone on a fixed income. He also reglued a pipe that wasn't done properly, with no extra charge. I had a leaking valve, and had everything apart and needed a plumber Quick, called and asked for a plumber quickly, Cove Plumbing said it would be available in 3 days or have to pay after hours rate of $190 per hour. I called Centex and was able to get a plumber within 30 minutes and he replaced the leaking valve plus 2 more valves and installed my new Kitchen Faucet for a very reasonable price.
