Jeremy was our plumber, and he did an amazing job. He came to our house and tried to clear our backed up drains. When he couldn't, he suggested alternative solutions. We agreed he would come back on Monday (he visited on a Saturday) to complete the job. He was not only on time, but a little early. He completed the job quickly and we were delighted with the quality of his work. He was able to solve multiple issues we had been dealing with for the better part of a year. His service charges are very reasonable. If you have plumbing needs and want someone who you can trust to do it correctly, and not empty your wallet, I can't recommend Jeremy at Centex Rootdown Plumbing enough. We have more work to be done and are happy to call him our go-to guy!

We had a late night emergency. It was after hours but I left a message in the hope they'd get it and, OMG, they did! They were so sweet, understanding, helpful, knowledgeable. They found where things were plugged up, advised us on maintenance for the immediate future and long term, and helped us with a root issue. (Watch out for those roots!) We were so stressed out for multiple reasons and their calm, kind demeanor just really REALLY helped calm a stressful situation! I literally cried after talking to them bc they were so sweet! They came out same day I called the day after my water heater broke. The owner, Jeremy, is very personable and remembers his customers. He went out of his way to find me a water heater. Another local company was going to make me wait a week and charge me for them coming out to assess and then to come out to replace it. Jeremy helped me understand water heater care to make it last longer and key things to do if anything goes wrong. He’s come out before to help me with a leaky outdoor faucet. He is my main plumber as long as he is around.
Jeremy was great and broke everything down for me to easily understand. He also gave a quote and stuck with it. The job took longer than he expected but didn't charge for the extra time. Honest man and obviously cares about his work product.

Great service. They are the ONLY plumbing company who bothered to return my phone call. They explained everything to me and when they got to the house promptly found the problem. They could not fix it as it was a water softener that had been installed. He checked everything out. VERY professional and will be using them in the future.
I thought I had a major water leak, and was so not looking forward to that expense. Called Jeremy, and he was at my house within minutes...on a Saturday!! I explained my dilemma as best as my non-plumber self could, and he (miraculously) understood what I was saying. Within minutes he found my problem (not a leak...whew) and had my water back up and running. The service call price was very reasonable and he was beyond nice! If you need a Plumber for any kind of problem Centex Rootdown is the place to call. Jeremy is awesome! He had to come out on a Sunday morning and there was no extra weekend fee for his service. He had the problem figured out and taken care of so quickly and at a very reasonable rate. He is extremely friendly and very professional at his job. Awesome plumber! Literally got to our house in 15 minutes after we called! Kids flushed an ornament down the toilet and the toilet had to be taken off to get it out, but he did it quick and left everything clean. He also doesn’t over charge! Thank you for helping us Jeremy!

Jeremy is absolutely awesome. The level of customer service he provided was best I have experienced. He was able to successfully repair the manifold and replace our water heater. He explained everything to me thoroughly, even drawing a description of what was going to be done / how the plumbing works in the house. I feel like I just took a class on plumbing 101. I had a small concern a few weeks later and he came by within a few hours of me contacting him, in between another job and did not charge a fee for that. He was very professional and told me what I needed to do, but also was trustworthy letting me know what could wait. Probably the best summary of a review for Jeremy I can give is that I was so satisfied with his work that I have now used him for four jobs. His prices were more then competitive to the quotes I got from other plumbers. The work that he did was very "clean" and "neat" looking. Speaking of clean, whe he finishes his work, he always cleaned the work area so it looke as good if not better then before he started the job. I will use him for my next plumbing job.

After this crazy winter storm my water softener sprung a massive leak. Jeremy showed up within the hour to bypass it so I can have water to my house again after being without for almost a week due to frozen pipes. Another instance I had a leaky angle stop where I had to shut the water off. It was Easter Sunday so good luck finding a plumber to come out. Jeremy came out, repaired it and saved my day. This company is professional and gets the job done!

I had a pressure problem at my house and called lots of different plumbers. I was quoted prices ranging from $1500.00 to $900.00 dollars and couldn’t get the work done at those prices for a week. I contacted Jeremy and he came out the next day, replaced the PRV and didn’t try to over charge me then blame the cost on COVID-19. He is my go to plumber from now on. Honest worker that is definitely worth calling if you have plumbing issues.
We had an emergency this morning where one of our shower knob cartridges busted and had to shut off water to the whole house because the shower couldn't be shut off. Jeremy was able to come out this afternoon, and provided an all around excellent experience. He made the repairs, did a great job, cleaned up after himself, AND the price for the parts and labor were VERY fair. We won't call anybody else for our plumbing needs in the future, 10/10 would recommend to anybody needing plumbing work done by a fair and honest company!

I contacted root down to install a whole home water system comprised of a sediment filter, whole home filter, and a water softener. Jeremy came out did an estimate. After recently purchasing an older home I have had to have several bathrooms have the fixtures replaced and I bought a new kitchen sink and Jeremy takes the time to do a thorough job and advises us on how to better care for and maintain our plumbing fixtures. If you want it done right, do yourself a favor and go with Rootdown Plumbing! During the recent snow storm my upstairs neighbor’s pipes burst and water was flooding through my bathroom ceiling! Jeremy took time (from his day off nonetheless!!) to turn off water to the effected unit, when the only alternative was to negatively affect the entire building of 50 people.

service on Jan 5, 2018 In the freeze that hit ctx one the pipes leading to the sprinkler froze and busted. Of course this happened on a Friday. When I called around 5pm I thought I would get a voicemail but Jeremy answered. He was in the area and came by in less than 20mins. Unfortunately the sprinkler back flow device cracked along with the pvc pipe and as he is not authorized to repair sprinkler back flow devices. I respected his honesty and integrity because I respect a business that stays in their scope of practice. Jeremy placed a cap on the sprinkler intake line which restored water to the house which was much appreciated. He was very professional and provided quality work for great price and went the extra mile on a Friday evening.

I am very thankful for his honesty, because I've had one thing after another come up that has taken a lot of money this month, and I was not sure how I was going to afford a large Plumbing bill, as well. Great business! During this crazy weather we're having my hot water stopped on my outside tankless heater. I called and talked to Jeremy who went above and beyond with the service he provided also explained how to fix the problem if it happens again which could save me a lot of time and money later! The water heater in our rental property busted. Turns out is was almost 20 years old, so it definitely needed to be replaced. I called Centex Rootdown Plumbing Friday morning. Jeramy meet me at the property right away, gave us a great rate (it was my third estimate). We decided to move forward, he pulled the permit the same day and fixed the water heater the next day. After 28 years our water heater tank finally bit the dust. I didn’t know who to call to do the installation of the new tank, but then I remembered that I had recently read about a highly recommended plumber on Nextdoor. Luckily I had saved the information. I called Centex Rootdown Plumbing and Jeremy was able to schedule me right away. He was very friendly and professional on the phone. We received an appointment confirmation and an appointment reminder per text. He showed up for the appointment on time and he did an excellent job installing our new tank, placing it 18" off the ground as required by code and rearranging the waterlines, since the new tank was sitting higher now than the old one had been. He even cleaned the floor before placing the new tank on the stand. I'm very satisfied with the work done, and I will use Centex Rootdow Plumbing again when needed.

I was very pleased with the service provided. At last minute Centex Rootdown Plumbing came to the rescue to handle my water heater leak. Within the matter of 2 hours my water heater was uninstalled, took to old one to get the replacement and reinstalled new one. When I got home from work I was able to enjoy hot water again and no leaks that I had to worry about. Great job!!

I decided to try them out, and the reviews were spot on. Jeremy was able to come out and reroute my plumbing lines for a bathroom renovation as discussed when he quoted the job. Did the job in the time he said it would take. Came out when he said he would. Communicated frequently to ensure i received what I was asking for without jeopardizing the quality of work. Before calling Jeremy with Centex Rootdown Plumbing (if you’re anything like me) I read his google reviews, Jeremy definitely lived up to his reviews! He is extremely professional when it comes to his business, he puts his customers first and does not hesitate to answer any questions you might have. Our water heater was down since Wednesday November 9th. We had called two other plumbers (never making that mistake again) prior to calling Jeremy, Jeremy was the only plumber that came assessed the problem (one company was going to have ME order the wrong parts) and called the warranty company, he explained the process of what was going to happen when we got the part, asked me if I had ANY questions of what to expect, and then had the part shipped immediately to the house. He was able to get us taken care of in a matter of 3 days from the time we called him to project complete!! I will NEVER call another plumber for as long as Jeremy is in Business. I’d give way more than 5 stars if I could! We are brand new home owners, have lived in this house 48 hours. I was doing the dishes tonight and all of a sudden noticed the floor was soaking wet, looked under the sink and it was leaking. Mind you, in the inspection the precious home owners said they had a professional come and replace the faucet and also the dishwasher. The dishwasher was broken as well. We called the previous homeowners and asked them what happened and they preceded to tell us they did it on their own. They said they’d pay for us to call someone and have them repair it. It’s Sunday evening, 7:00 on July 4th weekend. I went on google, found this company and immediately he answered and said he could be here in 1 hour. He arrived and fixed everything immediately. Jeremy was awesome. I can’t even rate them high enough. We will be using them again!
Quick and efficient. Hot water heater was leaking out the overflow. He showed me the pressure was too high. Found that the valve at the main line was not functioning. Replaced it and the overflow valve. He was in and out in a couple hours.

I contacted Centex Rootdown Plumbing on Saturday, February 5, 2022 due to water pooling in my front yard. I assumed it was because of the freeze we were just dealing with as it had just started coming up in previous days. I had an appointment scheduled for Monday 7th of Feb. that accommodated my teaching schedule. Jeremy called the day before to confirm the appointment and showed up on time on Monday. Right away rhe problem was diagnosed as a crack in the pvc pipe that connects to my water shut off valve. Jeremy was able to repair all of that right then and there, stopping all water leaking, and stopping all my anxiety. This was my first major issue that I have had to call out a PROFESSIONAL out to help fix on my very old (1992 built) home since I bought it 6 years ago and he really took the time to explain everything he was doing, making me feel very comfortable and confident in his work. Today I guess it got cold enough for my sprinkler system to bust and cause a leak so I called Centex Rootdown Plumbing and spoke with Jeremy. Thank goodness he had just finished a job and was able to come and take a look at the problem I was having. Jeremy took a look at my system, diagnosed the problem and gave us a fix until spring. Had a bad leak somewhere around my water meter. Called Centex Rootdown and Jeremy was here within hours. He worked through the mud and the mess until he figured out the leak wasn't on my side. He then worked with my neighbor to determine the leak wasn't his. My family called due to a major clog in our kitchen sink because of potato peels down the disposal. We did everything possible to try and clear it ourselves, to no available though. Jeremy came out the same day of the call. Quickly found the issue with my shower woes, and easily admitted that the job needs were beyond his scope. He made offers to look for remodeling companies that were both had the capacity to entertain the job, and reputable as the services he had provided. Throughout our conversation, my physical limitations (I have a fair amount of mobility problems), came up. He was willing to take a brief leave to get a new fixture from his company and return to install a new toilet in my master bathroom. He even took and disposed of the old unit. This all happened in the same day in a few hours (counting the hour he left to get the new fixture), and all for WAAAAY LESS than I thought the cost of the new toilet itself would've been. service on Jan 5, 2018 In the freeze that hit ctx one the pipes leading to the sprinkler froze and busted. Of course this happened on a Friday. When I called around 5pm I thought I would get a voicemail but Jeremy answered. He was in the area and came by in less than 20mins. Unfortunately the sprinkler back flow device cracked along with the pvc pipe and as he is not authorized to repair sprinkler back flow devices. I respected his honesty and integrity because I respect a business that stays in their scope of practice. Jeremy placed a cap on the sprinkler intake line which restored water to the house which was much appreciated. He was very professional and provided quality work for great price and went the extra mile on a Friday evening.

These days good, honest and fair service is rare and almost unexpected. Today, I tried changing out my three outside sillcocks. First I turned off the water main and successfully wrenched off, and replaced, the first one. I wasn't so lucky on the 2nd. I ended up twisting the copper piping and snapped it off inside the brick wall! OMG, what to do now??! It was already late in the day and if my family were to have running water, I knew I would be paying for this. I did a Google search for "the best plumber in the area" and Centex Rootdown had nothing but five-star reviews. After only reading the first couple of great reviews, I made the call. Diane answered and let me know they would be at my house in about an hour. I figured since the plumber was on the way, and my water was off anyways, I might as well try to change out my 3rd spigot. NOPE! IT SNAPPED ALSO!! Then I began mentally preparing for the price I was going to pay. None the less, Jeremy showed, I explained my misfortune and he quoted an outstanding flat fee for the job. He did the repairs in only a couple of hours. Bottom line, if you have any plumbing needs and want reasonably priced service, call Centex Rootdown Plumbing. You'll be glad you did. My daughter found Centex Rootdown Plumbing and they came the next day on Saturday, due to me pouring the sulfuric acid down the sink--I'm glad they are opened on weekends. The price extremely reasonable, and very affordable. He called me before coming over. He was very professional. It was a tough job because my sink had a ton of grease in the pipes. He even gave me a suggestion on how to maintain my sink monthly.

Amazing! Jeremy called to let me know he could come earlier than our appointment time, which was awesome. He is exceptional, honest and very hard working. We had a clogged kitchen sink and he had to use different ends to break it up, spent what I would guess at least double the amount of time it normally would take to fix it, without complaint or attitude. And I was only charged the original quote, which was VERY affordable, especially for someone on a fixed income. He also reglued a pipe that wasn't done properly, with no extra charge. He's my go to plumber from now on. I won't post the rate simply because it might change due to your own location, but I will say you won't find anyone that works as hard for such a reasonable rate. I had a leaking valve, and had everything apart and needed a plumber Quick, called and asked for a plumber quickly, Cove Plumbing said it would be available in 3 days or have to pay after hours rate of $190 per hour. I called Centex and was able to get a plumber within 30 minutes and he replaced the leaking valve plus 2 more valves and installed my new Kitchen Faucet for a very reasonable price. Centex will Definitely get my repeat business.
Jeremy is great. I like to be at home when work is performed on my house but work makes that difficult. CENTEX Rootdown Plumbing performs work on Saturdays and Sundays! I went through my home warranty who sent a different plumber first and that person automatically told me that I needed to replace my water heater. I called Jeremy for a second opinion and he identifies the flaws in mine after putting hands on and inspecting it (the first person didnt even do that). I called Centex Root Down Plumbing for a major kitchen remodel that involved drilling through the foundation to move plumbing, then a bathroom remodel for vanity upgrade and shower upgrade. All services were completed in a timely manner. The best part about this company is while the work is being done, they will ask you to come over to ask clarifying questions to make sure it is how you want it done and then make recommendations. Highly recommend them.

Jeremy came out sooner than was scheduled and did a walk around and identified the leak. He also looked at other problem areas in my home and said he could do all the repairs on Saturday. Jeremy came out after I had called 8 other plumbers. We actually had a gas leak and he had to meet Atmos at the house. Very knowledgeable. He took care of the water heater (tankless water heater). Not many plumbers work on those in Copperas Cove. So thankful for Jeremy. This guy was very knowledgeable Honest, and reliable and efficient and patient. I will def be using their services again.

Wonderful experience! Scheduling was a breeze and Jeremy was able to schedule me for the next day. The day of, he called to let me know he had finished the previous job earlier than expected and asked if it was ok if he arrived early, which I gladly agreed to. He was friendly and polite, listened as I explained the issues I had experienced and talked me through the expected process. He regularly kept me in the loop as to progress and any deviations from the original plan. My bathrooms now work as they should, and for one even better than before the problem arose!
